   what do you do? maybe it’d be better to do something that will build notoriety or buzz that will transfer over to your site.

   make a comedic parody video or 2 to get some viral and then have your watermar through out the video, fade in with your site, fade out with your site. Go to some social networking sites and just have your link handy in your sig, etc. these will probably turn that $50/month into $500/month. Just spitt-balling here. hope it helps.

   No, not really.
   You could just allow visitors to send in content,post comments, and you could place ads on site.

   affiliate ads make the page come alive and they supply regularly fresh content.

   allowing visitors to post comments and send in content(i.e. stories,etc) gives huge amounts of fresh content without you having to do much.
